July 2010 AWTT welcomes it newest member to the team.

Andrew Smith joins the AWTT team to further strengthen our base of electricians.

Andrew brings with him 20+ years of experience as a professional electrician across all aspects of electrical work from High Voltage testing to installation work.

Andrew's focus within our team will be to develop customer relationships through our additional services.

We welcome Andrew and his family to the AWTT family.

April 2010 AWTT joins National Safety Council of Australia

AWTT has been involved in the development of testing procedures in workplaces since 2003.

AWTT have joined the NSCA with a goal of further developing in partnership a code of ethics towards lifting the standards of testing companies within the electrical testing industry.

"We at AWTT take our testing standards very seriously and only offer a premium testing standard, we know that we are commissioned by our customers to ensure the safety of peoples lives within their workplaces" (Brett Beves, AWTT Director).

There are testing companies within our industry that do not use the highest levels of testing equipment, therefore, they cannot test your equipment correctly.
These are often the small operators that have only completed a short course in test and Tag, these are also normally the cheap prices offered in the marketplace. In some cases their licencing is not valid in all states. An example is the Queensland licencing system where to operate a test and tag business your company must have an electrical contractors licence. Make sure you check as your testing and tagging may not be recognised as valid.

AWTT only employ electricians and technicians that have our advanced systems training to ensure testing is conducted correctly as we are not in for the quick buck. We know workers and visitors to our customers businesses are safe and are also our responsibility too regarding electrical safety.

2009- Australian Business Awards

Australian Workplace Test & Tag has been awarded the Enterprise award by the by the Australian Business Awards for achieving outstanding commercial success and sustainable growth for 2009.
This awards recognises Australian Business Leaders.
Continuous improvement in business processes and customer service models along with their continued employment sustainability modelling placed AWTT in an outstanding position relative to the marketplace.

December 2009 AWTT Launches Website Update
As a result of our continuous improvement model, we have conducted extensive research with our customers regarding their needs and access to the inner workings of our business.
The results of our staff’s hard work, input and passion is our new site launched December 3rd 2009.
Keep an eye out for our further improvements towards assisting you our customers with your data management and access facilities.

November 2009. AWTT assist Police with stolen goods recovery
AWTT’s Legislative Compliance Management System (LCMS) came into it own this month.
One of AWTT’s national customers had a break in where valuable computing equipment was stolen. AWTT was able to provide the Police with data that proved our customers ownership of the equipment . As a result the police were able to recover the equipment and use the AWTT (LCMS) and prosecute the offenders.

AWTT Welcomes it’s first baby
In April 2009 AWTT’s Murray Small welcomed to the AWTT family their newest arrival Juliet.

June 2009 QLD Safety Show
Australian Workplace Test and Tag once again shone as Australia’s Premium Workplace Testing company at the Queensland Safety Show.
This was the third time the event has been held at the Brisbane Convention Centre.
AWTT was only one of two Queensland companies at the show.
AWTT shone above the other exhibitors as AWTT was the only Brisbane based NATIONAL Testing and tagging company at the Safety show. “We were the only Queensland Testing and Tagging company that offers a truly national approach towards Workplace Electrical Compliance Management services” (Brett Beves AWTT Director)
The Electrical Safety Office took a special interest in the interstate exhibitors trying to sell franchises and testing services in Queensland . The concerns revolved around Licencing, as to conduct electrical testing and tagging in Queensland the company must have a current Queensland electrical contractors licence, which was highlighted that the interstate companies involved did not have.

2008 Business Achievers Award
Australian workplace Test & Tag has been awarded the Quest Business Achievers Award for 2008.

The judging panel consisting of representatives from Queensland’s leading business organisations AWTT was identified as the leader in their industry.
AWTT out performed its competitors in all aspects of business from their business model through to their customer focus and business sustainability processes.

2007 Licencing upgrade
AWTT has achieved an upgrade of their electrical contractors licence to allow AWTT to perform repairs on electrical equipment in the workplace.

AWTT Sponsorship Victor and Ben Bray
AWTT has developed a sponsorship relationship with Victor and Ben Bray’s burnout cars.
The Burnout cars are featured at the main motorsport events around Australia.
AWTT see the relationship as a good fit.
AWTT Director Brett Beves believes “Being Australia’s Premium National Electrical Testing and Tagging company and Victor and Ben being the most recognised and most successful Drag Racing identities in Australia is a good fit and we look forward to further developing our long term relationship”.
